George Barnard (1851-1916)
was always known as George and was a clay tobacco pipe maker as were
his father and eldest brother Thomas.
My aunt Kate (Goss) Taylor, George's step daughter, told me before her death that this was the only picture of him she had ever seen. Unfortunately the condition of the photograph is poor, but restoration is expensive.

This picture
which I have titled 'Clara in Colchester' was sent to me some years
ago by cousin Ruth Holland. Clara is believed to be a member of the family but that is all Ruth and I know. Can anyone give her full name?

Stephen Sanchez. They were in my sister Peggy's collection at the
